Tan's & Jay's Wedding 2008.09.20

2008 is definitely the Year of the Weddings. Last Saturday felt like deja vu.  Except this time it was Tans walking down the aisle looking like a Greek goddess.  Yes, same church, different cast, but my friends just the same. :)

Since I was in a rush to get to the church, buzzer beater, got there just in time to see the march. Beautiful wedding, loved the vows that Tans & Jay created for each other. The reception was poignant, especially when Tita Mol sang.  It brought tears to my eyes. Emotions also ran amuck. There was a bit of hysteria, some grabbing involved, and lots of comedy. And I got some advice from Tita Mol on how to make a marriage work. It all boils down to choice. ;) Perfect ending to a perfect wedding.

Best Wishes and Congratulations Tans and Jay!

Enjoy the pics, taken by Vince, Marc, Les, and some shots from me too (look for the blurry ones)! Using Les' camera.

Mon & Sherb's Wedding 2008.09.14

The day started early.  Ginising ako dahil nandyan na raw yng make-up artist at around 7:45am. And I thought we had it scheduled starting 9am? Time space warp. Then we had to pour ourselves into our bustiers. Our fabulous gowns were created by Popo Go :) Who was also there to assist us dressing up.

Anyway, after a chaotic (?) [you be the judge --  4 ladies, 1 room, 1 make-up artist, 1 hair stylist, 1 designer, 1 fiance, and a pet --who was late, not to mention my titas and mommy (lola) coming in and out] but fun morning we headed off to the church.  We goofed around for a bit, ok, it took longer than a bit. :) Then it was time to walk down the aisle...

Naiyak ako when Mon was walking down the aisle, I blame it on the song.  I forgot the title, but if you were there, I'm sure it'll bring tears to your eyes too.  (note, I wasn't the only one with tears in my eyes, some had them rolling down their cheeks as well... try to guess who...)

btw, thank God no mishaps!  I had my reservations that I wouldn't be able to reach the candle wick, or trip, or have one of those humiliating incidents that people would remember the wedding by. (yeah yung mga tipong agaw-eksena?)

For this wedding... people will be remembering the gorgeous bride and the lovestruck groom.  I've never seen a happier couple that day.  And if love was captured in a picture, the expression on their faces says it all.

Best Wishes and Congratulations Mon and Sherb! :)

Enjoy the pics... these were taken by the barkada pet, a.k.a. Vince.  using Les' camera
