i have this bad feeling that i can't seem to shake... foreboding of some tragedy that might occur? o guni-guni ko lang ba ito. pero natuto na ako na dapat hindi ko baliwala-in ang mga ito. call it female intuition. sana nga wala lang..
tickets can refer to a lot of things. they may be entrance passes, like a movie or a concert. For those in IT supporting applications they are issues (which you would have to resolve within n hours depending on the severity). OR they could be traffic violations.
i am the proud owner of the last definition. well, i may have some of the 2nd in my queue, but as of this morning i got my first taste of dealing with the mmda. ang ganda ng simula di ba? actually for some reason i'm not really bothered. tatay ko yung medyo nagpa-panic. sabi ko mmda ticket na lang babayaran ko na lang sa metrobank e gusto pa kausapin. well at least from reckless driving it went to beating the red light. which is what i was really guilty of. stupidity, fortunately, is not in the list of violations. lesson to all, never follow the lead of a taxi.
hay. mas gusto ko na lang nagdri-drive mag-isa. mas-nastress ako kung kasama ko tatay ko magdrive e. ang daming backseat comments, na-di-distract ako. hahahaha. didn't have any of these problems when i drove alone. but i do appreciate his accompanying me. (biglang kabig e) :P
One thing i like about slaving for hogwarts is the work from home program. since we're expanding like crazy i get to work from home for 2 (count 'em TWO) days. Now, i've strategically picked days that would allow maximum rest and minimum disturbance, read: no scheduled meetings.
Unfortunately, there are occasions when the customer would ask if they could call you. Of course you can't refuse, especially during core hours (duh!). Heck, sometimes they insist even during after work hours. Trust me, i've tried to postpone it til the next day. But there are times when it is urgent that they get to talk to me. woohoo.. na-mi-miss lang siguro ang aking gorgeous voice... na-lo-longkot ka ba at walang makausap? ay sige lang mag-illusion ang lola.
anyway, that in itself is not a problem. the problem lies when our four dogs start barking simultaneously and the neighbor's roosters join in the fray. i've had a customer ask if i lived in a farm. hahaha. sabi ko na lang oo. see we've got 2 labradors, one beagle (i think), and one askal. Yung kapitbahay namin e may sabungan yata kaya maraming manok. i could put the phone on mute but kinda hard to do if it's only the 2 of you in the conversation.
oh well.. but i'm still not willing to sacrifice the small perks. am i more productive when i wfh? hell yeah. multi-tasking nga e. nood tv, trabaho, tulog, basa... how i manage to do all of that, di ko rin alam. yung nood tv, trabaho at basa pwede ko pa pagsabayin. pero yung tulog. medyo hindi. hehehehe. need 100% resource utilization for that task.
and the dogs are at it again. i should only be so lucky. may mga kaibigan ako 17 ang aso sa bahay, i wonder how they handle it?!? which reminds me, i think i'd better go and buy them some dog food... tomorrow.
first time i drove all by my lonesome yesterday. admittedly i'm still not very confident with my driving skills. the hardest part was going out of the house, it took me forever just to back out of the driveway. and because it's sunday, one way yung street namin dahil may misa sa umaga. but i couldn't maneuver the car to go the right direction. kaya counterflow na lang. buti wala ako nakasalubong.
ayun went to shang, grabe ang haba ng pila sa parking. dumating ako 11am nakapark ako mag-12 na. kasi naman dun talaga ako sa open parking dumiretso.. sinabi sa akin na full sabi ko hindi po.. maghihintay po ako dito.. di ko yata kakayanin ang hanging. and im proud of the way i parked too! haha not bad for a first timer. dahil alam kong mahirapan ako lumabas, pabaliktad ako nagpark :P
so had lunch with some friends. nandun din si attorney james, miss ko na rin yung monkey na yun. sabi ko dapat flower girl ako sa kasal nya. and we went shopping. juniors! the best place to shop for anorexics like me :D
maaga rin ako umuwi. takot magdrive ng gabi e. no mishaps. except the almost accident because this stupid truck took a turn too fast. buti na lang medyo nagslow down ako sa intersection na yun. (haha. di ba dapat talaga magslow down sa intersection? pero minsan di ko nakita may intersection diretso pa rin takbo ko.. hwek hwek.) AT hindi ako namatayan habang nagmamaneho. dun sa parking ako namatayan, 3 beses. tsk tsk. hindi pa rin ako pwede pakawalan sa edsa.
..or at least the 21st century version of tête - à - tête: chat. seems like that's the only way i get to have them meaningful conversations with people nowadays. good thing most of my hs barkada have access to internet. (oops! nabuking kung ano talaga ginagawa sa opisina.. hahahhaha -- shhh! -- oy, it helps productivity ha.. dahil gusto ko nang makipagtsismisan bibilisan ko magtrabaho! hahahaha)
it's both a good thing and bad. at least up to date pa rin sa balita, pero medyo impersonal. iba pa rin talaga yung magkaharap kayong nagkukumustahan, naghahagikgikan, nanlalait (!), palengkerang tumatawa, na parang wala nang ibang tao sa lugar na yun kundi kayo... at wala kayong pakialam.. hahaha. sama e. sayang at hindi ako nakadalo sa munting pagkikita ng btkups (world class engineers from the company that must not be named) at hotlegs ( [by-]products of THE ateneo). naiinggit na lang ako sa mga litratong nakuha nila. di bale sa susunod.
o ayan balqui may post na ako... pwede mo nang itanong kay roch yung itatanong mo.. hwek hwek hwek.. ano hintayin ba ang increase? tipping point! hahahahhahha
