i got the chance to visit the company i worked for prior to hogwarts last friday. had to deliver some stuff to pearl :) it was good to see them again. pearl was actually teasing me and announcing to everyone that i was returning. wehehehe... sabagay IF i do return, i won't be the first person to do so:P
oo nga ano.. it's been more than 6 months already. it seemed like years...and one thing i can say is i feel tired. well, good tired but tired nonetheless.
everyone seems to be leaving. nakakalungkot lang. since i started with the project there have been... almost ten people who left/are leaving. some just the project, others from their respective companies. coincidentally, i met one of them last friday. working for my previous company. shempre nakakwentuhan ko rin. sabi ko nga dahil ba sa proj kaya umalis yung mga tao? :( well, yeah, there were a lot of stressful moments. hehehe. feeling ko supernova na talaga sha. :P

earlier i had the chance to chat with our instructor after class (actually we were both walking towards makati ave). he mentioned that he was pleasantly surprised when he arrived here. it was his first time to visit the Philippines... and as he said he didn't realize that the philippines was quite industrialized. reminded me of what lisa said about makati. that she felt very safe here because there were security guards everywhere. i guess mr. daniel had the same insight. nakakatuwa lang :)
funny how we all have preconcieved notions about different places. i guess i'm also guilty of that. i had the same reaction about malaysia. nalungkot lang nga ako dahil parang ang layo nila sa pilipinas. parang napag-iwanan na ba tayo. :(
one thing i'm thankful for is the opportunity to interact with people from different cultures. it's always a good thing to be able to touch peoples lives and have them be part of yours, too. no matter how brief it may be :D
i was going through my old entries and read the plans i had for this year... it was kinda nice that i got to do/buy most of them and i'm just halfway through the year. :D

ano pa ba? ah yung isa secret na lang namin ni roch.. bwiset na great singapore sale na yan.
so yung plans to save this year? ah sa second half of the year ko na lang gagawin... yeah right! hahahhaha.
oh and got to see a plethora of afams in sing. may jt lookalike pang kumausap sa akin.. si brez kc tinawagan si roch e. hindi tuloy nakareer ni roch yung foreigner na yun. sorry na lang roch.
sabi ko nga dapat biglang tulak kay roch tapos ahem.. you're alone? i'm alone too.. want to explore... uhm... singapore together? mwahahahaha. sabay evil laugh e. sadly.. hindi ko na sha nakita ulit. what are the odds na nagbebenta siya ng sabon at makikita ko siya sa maynila? keep dreaming... hwek. hwek.

it's been a week or so since i've been back home. the past few weeks have been a whirlwind... let me recap.. 20060525 i was told that i was going to malaysia to do some implementation/support work for sal. at first i thought they were kidding, apparently not. si toto kasi pupunta ng dubai e. now when exactly was i supposed to leave? the following week. again? next week. ohkay. time to panic and cram all that SAL information into my tiny head.
got my itinerary that afternoon.. 20060530 am - arrive in sing 1300H - meet with peeps in sing 1700H - drive to malaysia 1900H - arrive in melaka my 20060531 0900H - sawa - work.. work.. work 20060601 0900H - 1700H - work.. work.. work 1700H - 1900H - drive to KL. 20060602 - fly home
amazing race anyone? off to calling amex to book flights and all those logistics stuff. just my luck.. no available flights on tuesday morning so had to leave monday night for singapore. but at least i got a booking for the last flight out monday.
20060529 shempre pumasok pa talaga ako di ba? sabi nga ni joyce ano ka ba! bakit ka nandito?!? buti na lang sinundo ako ni roch! nagmrt kami papunta sa condo niya. which was near the red light district daw. hahahah. pero maganda yung condo ha! at wala naman kami nakitang pedestrians peddling.. or did we? there was this guy on the street..
20060530 haba ng pila sa malaysian border a! i don't think i saw that many motorcycles in my life all lined up. at ebidensya na sobrang taas na ng gasolina kahit saang parte ng mundo.. nakapatay ang makina nila. sabagay medyo mahirap din na nakabukas yun habang nakapila.. might as well just drag the bike along. stayed at hotel equatorial. ok naman siya. except for that desk lamp bulb that blew up when i opened it.had to wait for the electrician. not easy considering it was already 830pm and we haven't had dinner yet.
20060531-20060601 roll up our sleeves and start working.. buti na lang nandyan din si dennis. hehe. divide and conquer. but we did manage to resolve most of the issues and then some. yun lang nga may nahanap sila ibang ipagawa. haay.
20060601 pm arrived in sunway pyramid hotel. maganda siya in fairness. medyo malayo lang sa downtown mismo. buti na lang mall sa baba. was able to do some last minute shopping.
20060602 lined up early at petronas towers. ang dami nang tao nakapila! got to go up around 945. and looked around the shopping mall. pero mahal kaya hanggang tingin na lang ako. hehehe. ah medyo umalis ako ng petronas 1130. yung taxi driver nagpapanic para sa akin dahil 220 yung flight ko. at hindi pa ako nakakacheckout sa lagay na yun. at traffic din. hahahah. pero nakarating naman ako ng airport mga 115. not bad huh?
